I need your help. I have a client that wants a "Swing" haircut. I have no idea what this is. her hair right now is about chin length and all one length. Can anyone tell me a star that has this cut or send me photos of this cut? Thanks, Brian

Do her a favor and send her somewhere else if you don't have the slightest idea what it is.

Mean maybe. But doesn't the writer have a point? Would you want someone cutting your hair if he or she doesn't know how to get to the style you desire?

I'm unregistered, but I think people also call it an angel cut. It kinda looks like an long layered cut if you cut all the hair as long as the bangs. I've seen it look real cute on teenagers- I've seen some thirtish folks with it,but it is so sprayed and lacquered in place it looks rough. I hope this helps.

That's why the original poster came to this board to ask - it's called research. Presumably, he/she came here looking for some friendly advice, only to have some troll tell him/her that he/she's incompetent, basically.

Knowing names of haircuts is not the mark of skill - different groups and subgroups have different names for the same haircut most of the time. Just ask her to explain the haircut (mabye draw it or bring in her own pictures) she wants to you, because im guessing the name 'swing' could be put to a number of different haircuts.
I havent got a clue what a swing haircut is btw.. i immediately thought it was a 'swingy' bob haircut or similar but i googled it and got http://www.bostonphoenix.com/supplements/the_best/98/text/S_ROCKABILLY_HAIRCUT.html - this , which doesnt help really lol.
