Hi y'all, I got hair troubles that I'm like sick and tired off! More than a year ago I had a perm. Now I never had troubles with perms or even coloring. This time however the perm turned to frizz. A week later I had the stupid idea of buying a home perm kit and using it to streighten my hair ( something I have done years before with no ill results) This time it left my hair frizzy but only on the bottom 4 or 5 inches of my hair( it's just over the shoulder lenghth) Not only that it mage my hair texture like wet spagetti noodles when wet. Well after more than a year of conditioning my hair, regular trims and oil treatments my hair is still the same mess. I'm at wits end. My hairdresser says if I just cut it all of the frizziness will just creep up. Anybody got any ideas what else I can do to have pretty hair again?Related Link:my middle eastern bellydance page

If you normally have healthy hair, then whatever grows out of your head after the perms (the stuff not touched by chemicals) will be healthy. If you cut off the frizz it is gone. Unless your whole head is still affected by the perm, in which case the weight of your hair may be keeping the top part straight (i doubt this) My advice is to get a better hairdresser!
