Date Posted: August 27 2001 at 9:12am I`ve been highlighting/lowlighting my hair on my own for over a year now, and have always been satisfied with the results. I was rehighlighting/touching up my roots, and some of the color must have gotten onto the already highlighted portion of my hair and that porting is now super light! It is so light it looks clear/grey! Now, not all of it is that color, so I am sure I just over bleached it or something. My question: How do I tone it down? I don`t want to become one of the "Mistakes", so I intend on getting it fixed at the salon. But I want to make sure I tell them the correct thing to do. I want all of the weird grey/white color gone.....I would settle for dark caramel/auburn highlights as long as they covered it all up.....
