Ok, I had my dark brown hair chunked blond. i had had it highlighted b4 so the girl chunked some pieces and dyed the rest brown. Well, the toner she put on my chunks looks orange! I dont know if the toner is permanant or not. In the past, the toner has washed out but I`ve washed it twice and it doesn`t seem to come out yet. Should I keep washing it or have something done to it to bring it back to blond? Please help!

First I have a couple of questions.
1) Is this your usual hair designer? or do you jump around?
2) What color highlights did you ask for? Blonde or some form of red? If red-what kind of red?
3) Is your hair REALLY dark brown or is that what you perceive? I`ve found in my profession that people don`t really know what thier color is, what they call dark may actually be medium, etc.
Can`t really give you advise without knowing what you asked for. Usually toners are permanent, you can`t wash them out. But they do fade away after about 4 weeks or so.
Is this your usual hair designer? If so, you should return to THEM for this advice. If she isn`t, keep us posted.
