I just today got my screwed up then fixed above the shoulders look chopped off into a pixie, and I love it. It makes me wonder why I tried to grow my hair in the first place. I guess my experience wasn`t all that bad after all. My hair is so short it feels so different, and I can`t pull it back, or anything. Soulds like a bad thing, but i really have to do nothing anymore and have a style that looks and feels great.

Hey that`s great. Sometimes, what we actually think is bad, turns into something really good. Just think had you not tried to cut those layers yourself, your hair would still be long, & you`d be missing out. So what made you decide to go for the pixie in the first place? Is this the first time you`ve had short hair? Do you plan on keeping it that way for a while, or will you try regrowing it again? What does your friend think about it? Sorry for all the questions, I`m just curious. Usually, after the first cut is made, others are easier. Again, Congradulations.

Melissa......It is nice to hear everything worked out. Now you have an easier cut to trim yourself when it gets long and out of shape. Don`t be afraid to trim the ends when it is time.......glad to help you when it is time.
