Date Posted: October 29 2002 at 3:35pm Hi! For my birthday, I had my hair highlighted...for a lot of money at the local hairdressers. Merrily, I chose my colours and waited as they were applied. However, long before the anticipated development time, my hair began to heat up to quickly and to avoid damage, they had to be removed. Having aimed for bright, platinum blonde hightlights, I now have limp, unnatural yellow streaks that really don`t match my complexion...and in two days I am going to a concert and desperately want to look nice.... Short of spending any more money (we could barely afford the original colour attack!) is there anything I can do?!
