I need to know what I can put on my hair to stop it from being stretchy, gummy, and sticky. I'm using CAT by Redken right now it's helping some. I've already had my hair cut above my shoulders. Can you help me please?

1. Shampoo with a very gentle shampoo, Don't over do the moisture....Your hair is too soft right now. 2. Before you apply the Cat, ****BE SURE to gently squeeze the water out of your hair. This is KEY! 3. Apply the cat... wait 5 minutes...Rinse, tepid water...not too hot. REPEAT this up to three times, in a row. You will see a difference. If after this your ends are still cottony (is that a word?)...they will most likely not get better, in my experience.
