Help! I got bad haircut and supposly now I have a cowlick and its a bad truffle, Theirs no hell in way I can style it and when I got to college I always have a hat.. I try growing it no help, anyone know if cowlick will go away and what does my hair geow on side and back, should I cut it short or leave it long?

I don't think they go away, since the ones I've had, I've had my whole life :-P .  You just have to learn to live with them, like what length they stick up least at, what products hold them down the best, etc.  It takes a lot of trial and error.

Presumably you had your bangs cut short (2 inches or less?). Once it grows longer, the extra length will work with gravity to make the cowlick less noticeable.
  I've got the same problem - my bangs have to be kept eye-brow length, otherwise they go all kinky.
