is it safe to henna your hair on top of been dyed lots hair?? I accidentally went too dark red ( auburn ..came out very red --on top of my bleached hair) ...my thoughts so far 9from reading posts) would be to a) get prell = wash it often to fade the darkness/redness b) highlights after that to lighten up further ( I've done this often & even my hairdresser commented on the good job i do!!) ...could I then (in a month or two) follow this up with a golden brown (soft orangey) Henna?? I would like to switch to a more natural product ...but is it safe on dyed hair?? Luckily, my hair is fairly tough/ forgiving of processing ...partly because I'm very good about conditioning often & also take MSM ( builds your hair strength!!) Thanks in advance!! gisele

Henna is safe but it seals up your hair shaft completly nothing gets in or out including conditioner. It also makes future highlighting very hard because the pigment doesnt lift out of the hair easily.
