Date Posted: July 23 2000 at 4:02pm I have naturaly curly hair and when i was little it looked okay. when i was in the fourth grade i started to wear my hair up and slicked back all the time and now the top is straight and the bottom is curly. i want to get my hair straightened professionaly but i've heard that the chemicals will make your hair smell and wont last very long!!! is it true? and when i straighten it with a curling iron, how much damage does it do to my hair?
