Date Posted: July 31 2000 at 2:19am I have a beautiful girlfriend that has straight hair and I want her to get a curly perm but I do not know how to ask her to get one. I know she loves me and she says that she would do anything for me but I dont feel right asking her that for fear of her not wanting it or something. She is Italian and her hair is thick and I believe she would look outstanding if her hair was a mane full of ringlets. Should I subtlely mention that to her or should I just be totally honest and tell her I want her to get a curly perm? The perm would have to be extremely tight and very curly or I wouldnt be happy. Is this asking too much? We have dated for over a year and we are very much in love but something about really tight,curly hair gets me all excited and I find myself looking at girls with curly hair when I am not with her. I am hoping for suggestions from both genders but I really want to know what the girls think I should do. Please respond quickly !! Hopeful chef ken !!! I guess you could also tell her that you think she would look gorgeous with curly hair. :) She could also just try curling her hair without using any perm solution to see what it might look like.
