Hi - I`m a first-timer to the board. I have a question for other "curly-haired" friends that I figured I`d post here (as most people are know are naturally straight).
I have had long, med (currently), short and ultra-short hair in my time. No matter what the length, I`ve always been able to blow it dry straight if I want to (in very little time), wear it wavy without it getting too frizzy, or make it very, very curly (Debra Messing-ish). My individual hairs are fine, but I have a lot of them so my hair is thick-ish but not unworkable.
I`ve been in a medium-length, long-layered-cut for about a year and am getting bored to death. I want a change but nothing so short that there`s no versitility - I still want to have the option style it. I`m REALLY tempted to do the Meg Ryan "do" (currently - heavy layers, a few inches past her chin) but am confused about her actual hair-type. Is she curly or straight? Are those curls "forced" when I see them, or is this a cut that would work for someone like me?
Thanks! (By the way, my cut is THIS Sat - 2/10)
------------- Jules
