Darling Lyris,
I saw your picture on the curly hair talk site, you are beautiful! And I showed the picture to my wife and one of my teenage daughters and they both agreed you look adorable in your hairstyle, although my guess is you would look good in a longer or shorter style as well! One of my daughters has a similiar hairstyle and of course she is a cute and lovely girl!
How old are you Lyris? My guess is early to mid-twenties. And I`m sure whatever guy you are with is a lucky fellow, since it is obvious by your writings ,you are intelligent and good natured, not to mention your beauty! So glad you posted your picture since most of us never post a picture on websites, I don`t even know how to do that!

Hi Johan.....thanks for your kind words, I`m blushing :-) Yes, I`m 21 and graduating from college in two months. I do have a FABulous boyfriend whom I`ve been dating for five years...and he`s great about supporting whatever strange thing I do to my hair. I used to have veeeeeeeerrrrry long hair halfway down my back, but during my sophomore year in college I dyed it a horrible orange (not on purpose--light brown was the intention. We don`t always get what we want.) So I`ve spent the last two years growing out the damaged orange part and slowly trimming it off. In another four months it will be all gone and I`ll just let it grow to the floor.

I like that idea....as it is right now you can post pix like I did but you have to know a little bit of HTML coding. It would be nice if hairboutique could start something like that, although it might be a little costly since images take up space on network servers. I like the suggestion!

Hey Lyris! I saw this pic before & posted a message but I dunno if you saw it, so I`ll say it again...
You`re REALLY pretty! I love straight, sleek hair like that (I wish mine looked like that). Glad to hear that you`ve got such a great B/F. Anyway, it cool to be able to put a face to a name since I`ve read lots of your posts so just thought I`d drop ya a line!

Thanks Ingrid! Believe me it takes a lot of gel, blow drying and all around effort to get my hair staight like that (it`s naturally wavy and somewhat frizzy.) I use an awesome gel by Tresemme...it`s called European Slick Melting gel and ohhh does it work wonders!
