I have recently started using a new combo of two products on my hair and it works great to define my curls - but keep them soft as well. When I get out of the shower - I wrap a towel around my hair for about two minutes. I then run a wide-toothed comb through (you could probably spray on a light leave-in conditioner to help). In my hand I put about a nickel-sized amount of Biolage Reconstructing (I think?) Conditioner and a little less than a nickel-sized amount of LA Looks Melting Gel (this just happens to be what was in the cabinet - I don`t know if it works because of the combo of the gel and the conditioner - or because of this specific gel - it works so well - I`m afraid to try another kind of gel). I mix them together in my hands and then finger comb the stuff through my hair and scrunch. Occasionally I get a little section that got too much product on it - and you have to "decrunchify" - but over all this seems to be working well.

Hi there! I loved the LA Looks melting gel. Tell me, do they still distribute it in your part of the universe? Because they stopped in Michigan! I`m not sure if it`s discontinued or what. Either way, if you like it and someday can`t find it again, you might also like Tresemme European slick gel. It`s very similar and I actually think it resists humidity a tad better than the melting gel.

Thanks for sharing your advice! :-)
