I'm a guy with fine curly hair and lots of it. I've always worn it short, now been growing it for about a year and looking wierd for most of that. I've had "is that a wig?" now I get "Are you a clown coz you have funny hair?" from little kids. Its also a hassle to keep (tangles and hair to pull out). Conditioning and moisturising oils make it look like these two photos (wet and combed and then dry)
I don't like the bunching up at the back and sides and its wierd how the top stays straight but the rest goes into "ringlets".For sport or to go running I have to to use a headband or clips so I can see and thats the worst of all.
Can I get some advice here what might work? I'm bored of short hair. Its not quite long enough for a decent ponytail, but I probably won't like that style with my long face. Dreads? not sure about that one.
ta in advance,
(The couple hairdressers I've spoken to have had no idea what to do with it. Battling to find a curly expert)

Comb it back and have it cut differently so that is tapered/layered. Go to a good salon, they will know what I mean. Good luck!

I agree, you need your hair cut in a different way so the curls fall more naturaly around your face, also you have beautiful hair, don't let others offend you by there comments, in this world everyone is use to overly processed hair and when they see someone with natural hair, they are suprized....
