Hi everyone,
I am going to get my first perm soon and would like to know what you think the minimum length has to be to have a perm. I had my head shaved almost totally about 70 days ago, but since then I have let it grow back out. Every time I grow my hair out it gets super wavy. Plus I have very thick hair. So I have decided that I would just finally give in and become a complete and total curly head. I want to have a super tight, small curls type of perm. I want the curls to stay as tight as possible for as long as possible. I am not interested in any more waves, just curls, curls, curls. Could someone share advice and suggestions. Also, what kind of perm is best. I would not mind a Zotos from what I have read so far. Finally I am looking for a female stylist to do this somewhere in the South Central Georgia area who can take care of all the above needs. Any suggestions woill be greaty appreciated.
Signed,

A perm is a big decision. I've got one done just last year and I'll tell you, the minute the stylist took out the rods, I had regrets. Now that my hair's grown mid-back my hair looks marvolous with a perm. But enough about me, this is about you. I really recommend a spiral perm, it comes out beautifully when your hair grows out. But this is your choice and if your willing to do this go for it!
