Help...I want to know whether I should use rollers or a culring iron on my thick straight hair. Its heavy so curls don't stay the longest either.
I definitely don't want big volumuminous curls that add body...the new curly waves, curls, ringlets.
Any suggestions, tips, advice...on whether to curling iron or roll?
I'm thinking about the caruso curlers by the way.

If you want small curls like ringlets, get a curling iron with a 1/2, or a pencil sized 5/8 (I use a 5/8).
I recommend Hot Tools 5/8 Curling iron. When you memtion ringlets, Hot Tools also makes a specialty ribbon iron. The only difference is that the clamp on that is short so you can twist hair around vertically.

If your hair has trouble holding curls, use mousse on your hair before curling, or get a perm.
