Hi, I have very curly/wavy hair. I like it, but I want it straight sometimes. Problem is, that whenever I use a flat iron or blow dry it, it comes out very poofy, and it's very time consuming. Does anyone have any tips for how to get it sleek and smooth?

I use the Frieda Blonde/Brunette line of defrizzing and shine solutions. You can find it at wal-mart. It works fantastically with my hair type (prone to frizzy, fine hair, but with massive amounts of it.) If you want to try something with a bit more of a guarantee (but also more of a price), try Biosilk glass drops, available at salons. Also, I blowdry first with an ionic dryer and round brush to cut the frizz first, then straighten with a flat iron. I use a defrizzing, straightening shampoo and conditioner called Stick Straight. It's available at salons.
I hope this helps!
