So I did it.. Today.. I went through with the perm. I am undecided whether I like it, however. Yeah yeah, I'm being a bit dramatic - seeing as how it's only been about 5, or so hrs. It's just a lot curlier than i thought it was going to be. She used the biggest salon rollers... not sure of the color.. Not sure if the colors are universal. ::shrug:: Is it true that it will relax some, in the next few weeks? Geez, i hope so. I just need to play around with styling it and see what works best with my hair. Perms are a whole new ball game for me.

Well anyways, I just thought I would let everyone know that, this time, I didn't cancelle. Heh.

Thanks!

It will relax. Mine did around a month after the perm. Don't condition too much or the perm will relax permaturely.

I've learned one thing from perms

It's the one thing that can truly ruin good hair.

I've noticed that no matter how many times celebrities color their hair, it always snaps back to health (except Courtney Love).
Now a celeb getting a perm, that is irreversable.

Hi SiriusGrrl, sorry I didn't follow up on my last post! : ) I hope your perm went well. And you have every right to be scared (even after 5 hours), because after all, your hair is completely different than when you walked in. I'd be panicked.

Hugs,
Anais

Hi,
yeah, it should relax after a few weeks. I bet it looks great. You should post before/afters.
