Hello everybody! I am just wondering if there is such a thing as professional curly hairstyles? I am entering the business world and have long, thick, naturally curly, frizz proned hair that I usually wear back in a clip or lose bun. I desperately need a more sophisticated hairstyle, but can't find anything on the internet and am at a loss. Can anybody help me?

Thanks for any input!

I have really curly hair, too and it's never adversely affected my workplace. I think that as long as it is kept neat (hard but attainable) and out of the face it looks professional.

Wearing it half up or the front half pulled back or in a small bun looks great. A low ponytail with a simple or ornate clip depending on the outfit can look very classy. Also the option of a simple french twist with or without the ends tucked in. If your hair is long enough, you can experiment with braiding. Try posting on the long hair board about braids, there are quite a few there that will have great recs.

HTH!

I guess my real problem is that my hair is very thick as well. If I take my hair and pull it into a ponytail, it is about the size of about a golf ball...it's pretty thick. I can't pull it into a clip (unless it's a french clip) and that's currently what I do all of the time. I need other suggestions. HELP!!!
