I can remember when i was in elementary school, when i would get a perm my mother would style it for me by spraying this product that was in a purple/pink bottle... i think it was called PermaSoft... i even still have the wide tooth pnik comb that it came with. I've been trying to look for it, but i cant find ANYthing on this. This was about 7 years ago.. so they may not make it anymore...

Can anyone help me out? PermaSoft...

WOW! A blast from the past. I haven't seen that product for several years. As I recall, it was made by the Lamaur Corporation (they still market a smoothing shampoo and straightening balm). The last address I have for them is:

Lamaur
P.O. Box 1221 Minneapolis, MN 55401-1221;
763-572-2883

A number of my clients stopped using it when they discovered that Lamaur tests their products on animals.

Good luck in your search and I hope you find something that works really well for you.
