Hi!
I have black, wavy, and very thick hair. And I am thinking of getting it permanently straightened as some Asians do.....i.e. Korean, Japanese, etc. Just wondering what other people's experiences are with this....
1. How long does it last?
2. What happens when your hair grows out? Is the new growth still wavy or does the old straightened hair weigh it down so it is straight?
3. How much does it cost?
4. Anybody know of any good places to get it done in New York City where it isn't so expensive?
Cheers,
Charlie
