Hi, I'm going to a 1940s event this week but have no idea what to do with my hair. It's long and fairly wavy. Does anyone have a link to pics/techniques that may help?

Thanks!

Here are some pics: http://www.lphouse.com/1940s.htm - http://www.lphouse.com/1940s.htm

And here's one with some instructions for the rolls, though I must say it sounds terrible for hair health!

Thanks Susan, the first link is a great help. You're right about the second one tho - think I'll give that a miss!

I didn't realize it when I posted that second link the first time, but if you go to the bottom of that page and click on Nocturne hair, you get a page with other links for instructions on how to get the "vertical waves" they're all wearing in the 40s photos....looks hard to do, but not so bad for hair!
Good luck, hope your party is fun.
