I used to have long hair, but I recently got it cut to my shoulders and had it highlighted also. I would appreciate any information on microbraids, such as how long it takes to get them put in, how to maintain them, how long to keep them in, what type of hair is best to use (synthetic, kanekalon, or human). Also, since this would be my first time having them done, would it be best if I had them done by a professional as opposed to someone who just knows how to do hair well?
