Kym,

I`m talking from experience, who ever is doing your briads make sure they know what they`re doing health wize. Due to some people can braid to tight and cause breakage around the hair line or even pull the hairs out of their hair plugs. Also, make sure you don`t have a fresh perm, because the hair can cut through yours causing breakage as well. Best thing to do as a start off is wash, deep condition your hair and cut your ends, and while your braids are in spray braid sheen on it to keep the shine and moisture. And please don`t keep the hair in to long where your new growth is making your style look like you`ve been scratching your scalp up for days. Hope I`m helpful !
