Date Posted: April 11 2001 at 1:47pm I just got microbraids this weekend. I went to a cosmetology student, so I assumed she knew what she was doing. My question is, are microbraids done the same way as regular box braids? The reason I ask is that I was told the style would last up to three months, but I don`t see how that`s possible because mine are already coming a loose, a little at a time (they were done using the same braiding technique as box braids, only smaller of course). Is there something I can do, or use, to preserve my style? Also, what`s the best way to clean my hair now that it`s been braided? Replies:
