Im interested in growing out and locking my hair. I like the looks of sisterlocks and has found a technician near me. The question is , is there anything I need to now before locking my hair. I understand that it is a permanent style.

The consultant should part you hair into 4 sections- 2 in the front and 2 at the back. He or she should start the at the front and work their way to the back of your head. They should be putting them in vertical rows starting from the center part. I know this b/c mine were put in WRONG over 3 years ago and JoAnne herself let me know what was wrong when I met her.

I finally had them done. I`m so happy. The first day they are tight like you just got a thousand microbraids done. I am also happy that I try that Hair formula 37 it grew my hair a 1/2 a month. I will keep you posted. Make sure the person is a ceritified sisterlocks technician. Ask to see the certificate. I will keep in touch.
