Hi. Has anyone with unpermed afro-ish hair tried it. i was wondering if it would rip my hair out or not. its supposed to make your hair shiny and straight or curly. The website is www.RevoStyler.com if you want to look at it.

I just saw the informercial for it and to me it seems like a waste of money for someone with extremely curly/frizzy hair, when this one woman (caucasian) who had very curly hair but not kinky was demonstrating the technique of the brush on her hair, I was observing very closely and it didn`t seem to get her hair stick straight, it still had some waves in it especially around the hair line. it also looks as if it will hurt your hand since you have to be holding the blowdryer in one hand and the twirling brush in the other. In my opinion this brush seems like it works the best for people with hair that has a slight wave to it
