I would like to know if massageing my scalp while my braids are in too tight help stop traction alocepia.

i don`t think so,just don`t put it too tight then it will cause ttration alocepi,

Massaging your scalp with oil should loosen the braids somewhat and sooth the soreness. However you should stay away from too tight braids. They should loosen up within a week, but if they are still causing soreness after this time then you should have them removed in order to avoid breakage.
