My mother started out using it on my hair when I was younger. Did nothing bad considering I had virgin hair. My hair was thick, but a nice healthy length for a young age. But considering that I have a relaxer now, I wouldn`t use it because it`ll dry my scalp out terribly and it would just weigh my hair down too much. But if you have virgin hair, it should be fine.

No it is not bad for your hair, my mother used blue magic on my hair that has been natural all my life. And my hair is healthy and mid back length. All she used was a li ttle blue magic and water and comb threw my hair gently she would also oil the scalp and at night she should do the same thing except she would oil the ends along with it and put something over my head when i slept and now my hair is midback.
