This is so annoying to me. The right side of my hair is longer than the left. The worst thing about it is that the right side is thicker than the left side too. I`ve tried massaging the left side more and that doesn`t help. Even cutting it doesn`t make a difference because the right side will just grow back quicker than the poor left. It`s happened more than three times before. I treat them the same, although I do tend to sleep on my left side the most. Could this be it?? Does anyone else experience this too? Got any tips??

Do you wrap your hair to the right? That used to happen to me. But I started alternating my wrap after every time I washed my hair. So one week I would wrap it to the right and the other week I would wrap it to the left. Another way of wrapping your hair is to part it down the middle and wrap one side ,say the right side, for example, around the back of your head and pin it. Then take the right side and wrap it around the back and pin it. This helps to make your wrap look more even that doing a normal beehive wrap, that has the hair all going in one direction. If you do continue doing the normal one-direction wrap, be careful when you comb it out. Make sure to comb it out gradually, combing it down little by little in the direction it is wrapped. Comb it out so gradually, that you have to go around the head several times with the comb before all the hair is out of the wrap. Also, always comb out wrap with a wide tooth comb. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tip!
No, I haven`t been wrapping my hair and that could be a problem. I always sleep in a satin bonnet, but I have my hair in that wavy and curly style that I was so desperate to get, so mainly I just sleep on it like that. I haven`t wore my hair straight in a while, now that I think about it. It`s either curls, ponytail, or whatever my stylist fixes me up with, and I just go to sleep like that. But I do release my hair from any ponytails before bed.
On my next visit to the salon, I think I am going to get it evened out. I want that gradually layered effect, know what I mean??? Starts out shorter in the front and then it gradually becomes longer and longer. So that way, it just won`t be two distinct lengths. I have decided not to get my hair layered all over because I HATE it when people come up to me and say:
"Did you cut your hair???? Why did you cut your hair??? You shouldn`t have cut your hair!!!"
That always hurt my feelings.
