Hi everyone,
This may have been discussed before, but I wanted to ask about the Profectiv line of produts. I just bought the one called Break Free and I was just wondering if anyone had tried any of these products. I used it and it made my hair kinda hard. It may just be the fact that I used it after I washed my hair. If anyone has used these or has any suggestions, I would be very happy to listen to them. Thanx very much!

I use Break-Free, Mega Growth (occasionally) and the Anti-Itch serum. I have never had that experience. In fact, I always use the Break-Free after I shampoo and it makes my hair softer and easier to comb. And it also makes it softer when I rinse my hair before I shampoo it. Hmmmm. I don`t know what else to tell you. Did you have gel in your hair previously? I`m going to ask my other friends who use it and see if they`ve ever had that experience, because I know that one of them always use the kind for split ends, and she`s never told me anything about it hardening her hair. But, I`ll find out for sure, though.

According to one friend, she uses the Mega-Growth and the Split ends formula. She said that it seems to make her hair a little thicker and a litttle harder. Hmmm. So, I suppose that you aren`t the only one that this has happened to. But she does continue to use it, though.

I am currently using Profectiv HealthyEnds and I find that it does make my hair feel much thicker. However, I`ve never had any problems with it making my hair feel stiff or hard. Also I`ve only used it on my hair while it was dry that may have something to do with it. I find that it does help to keep my ends very moisturized. I usually apply it before I wrap my hair at night.

Thank you everyone for all of your comments. They were greatly appreciated. I agree with all of you when you say that it makes your hair thicker. It also keeps my hair from breaking. Maybe it just had to do with how my hair was feeling after that particular shampoo. I will continue to use it though, it really seems to work. Thank you all very much and keep me informed if you hear anything else! :)
