Has anyone ever used this product? The bottle says that it controls perms, colors, and relaxer results. It also says that it prevents chemical shock and equalizes hair porosity. If anyone has used this please let me know how you are supposed to use it (i.e. before or after a relaxer) and what the results were.

I have used the Porosity control corrector and conditioner of Creme of Nature, but my hair isn't permed, it is pressed. I would say that you use it before you relax your hair because after you relax it, your hair is practically done. What the conditioner actually does, is make your hair a lot smoother to comb through. You know after you wash "African American" hair, your hair is all knot up, and it takes forever to comb through, using that condition makes a whole lot easier, and your hair comes out straighter. It's not so kinky.
I hope this helps.

Hey Petrina,

Well, it says to use before a relaxer but it doesn't say how soon before one. There's an 800 number on the back of the bottle that I called but they were not very helpful because they only knew about how to use it before perms and colors. I need to know if you are supposed to use it immediately before or a few days before a relaxer.
