OK next week ive got a hair appointment to get braids to rest my natural hair for awhile, I was wondering can some one give me anytips on how to care for my braids while i have them in, so they will last along time. Also I hear that you can wash your hair while you have your hair in braids. Is this true. Some one please give me alittle info.

Oil the hair everyday and wash the hair at least every 3 weeks not too much because the hair can get frizzy. Also take the hair out after at the most 3 months.

In addition to that, get a silk scarf or satin one and wrap your braids with it so it wouldn't get ratty looking so quick. Plus keep your braids moisturized.
