I don't know what to do...If I put grease on my scalp, it itches to no end and forms dandruff..If I dont put grease on my scalp and just moisturize the rest of my hair, it still itches from being so dry and then leaves dandruff? Is there any type of solutaion that will take care of this. Also what is the best hair oil. I need something that will put the moisture and also deep conditioning at the same time. Thanks
Cass

I suggest using the Cordless heat cap that I wrote about on a new thread..it will really help moisturize your scalp treatments..DO NOT USE A HAIRDRYER ON YOUR HEAD!! This tends to dry out the head and hair!! The cordless heat cap is AWESOME! No cords, and no AIR HEAT...This is a moisturizing heat cap..Read my thread,,then go to www.microhaircap.com
Happy New Year!

You may want to try a shampoo made especially for dry, itchy scalps such as the KeraCare Dry Itchy Scalp Line or Pantene R&N Dandruff Shampoo. I would avoid using heavy greases that contain petroleum or mineral oil, as they can clog the pores and cause more dandruff. Oiling your scalp with pure essential oils like coconut, EVOO, jojoba, etc., may be a better alternative. HTH!

Keracare Dry and Itchy Scalp Shampoo should work, you could also try a shampoo with tea tree oil also.

Maybe you could also see a dermatologist.
