Hi, I used Black n' Sassy's Wrap Creme & I loved it...It made my hair soft, shiny, & held it softly in place, but I would like to know if I can use Wrap Creme on dry hair too? The instructions do not say & the company doesn't have a website, just an e-mail address...I wrote to them, but haven't heard anything back yet...One person said I could use it on dry hair, b/c it would wet my hair, just like it was wet already...Another said no, only on wet hair...
So can it be used on wet hair?
Thank you very much!!

I understand where you're coming from 'cause I wrap my hair too. But, I also am an African American who frequently washes/conditions her hair (Twice to three times a week). There's a fact that African American have the driest hair of any other race, so it's important to constantly keep it mosturized! As for the wrap, there are plenty products for wraps that do dry out hair (especially black hair). But there are some to can actually help the hair keep it's moisture, though rare. The key to find this is if it says it's moisturizing on the front or back (near the directions--the discription of what it does to your hair) or you can check the ingredients and check for any elliments of any kind of 'alcohol'; ALCOHOL IS A MAJOR HAIR DRYER so be careful!! It's okay to use them sometimes, but to cure your dry hair effect, it's good to use daily moisturizer (Like oil sheen) if you're gonna go ahead and continue with the wraps. Even without wraps, you should continue with moisturizing your hair because it means less breakage and more leangth for later on. I hoped I helped you somehow. Biyas!

I wrap my hair also. I dont use a wrap lotion anymore. The first few times it worked but then it started to build up on my scalp and dry out my hair. I like to use Parnevu T Tree oil, it makes my hair soft and shiny and keeps my ends from frizzing.

Sorry, I didn't mean that my hair was dry in texture...I meant dry hair, not wet or just washed hair, but that my hair is dry, b/c I haven't washed it...

i dont know what to tell you...i know some setting lotions basically wet your hair and let u wrap it..
You might just want to experiment with it and see if you can still wrap your hair with the lotion even if your hair isnt wet...plus its different for everyones head.

What I meant to say was I wrap my hair with T-Tree oil and I don't use wrap lotion anymore. My hair wraps just as good without the wrap lotion.
