im a guy and wanna grow my hair real big to get braids and various styles, but i heard when guys grow their hair it damages the hair, is that tru? p.s im african so i have african hair |

how would be growing your hair be damaging? I don't think growing your hair out naturally will damage your hair. Maybe because guys don't focus on their hair as much as women do, guys tend to not take the time to take care of it... that may be why guys hair gets damage when grown out.I honestly have no clue, I've never heard that. My guy grew his hair out for the same reason. His hair seems to grow faster than mine, I relax mine he doesnt. But his hair is past his shoulders now.He shampoos and conditions his hair reg., hot oil treatment every once and a while and I grease his scalp every few day, I braid it and he puts a wave cap on at night to keep the cotton pillows from drying out his hair.Good luck  [smile

well if u think that growing ur hair can damage it all i can say is that ur a pretty dum peice of ****... im gay and i no that when i grow my pubic hairs they dont get damaged... do u want me 2 show them 2 u one nite? u must be pretty fkd in the head if u think that having an afro will wreck ur hair! ps 2 all u gay guys out their that grow their pubic hairs e mail and i will pluck them one by one with my teeth... ps i need nude pics for my website..

GO THE FRO!!! grow your hair dude trust me... african afros are the best and they will look very classy if u want to bread them afterwards... if u look after your hair well enuf u dun need to wry about it getting damaged... ps, walk into your local music store and buy my single: ANGELS BROUGHT ME HERE
