I just recently cut my hair into a twa(which is tweenie weenie afro) anyway ive got some products that seen to work, but i wanted to get a routine down. Does any one hear wear a twa and if so what is your routine. i need something to go by. Here is my routine. I nopoo my hair daily with suave coconut conditoner/with a little honey, then i rinse well Then i add alittle olive oil with 3marble size of conditoner to my hair then i comb gently with a wide tooth comb or pick with an afro pick then after that. I use about a palm size hand full of pantene prov scrunching gell to my hair and comb through I also do a hot oil treatment once amonth. Is this a good routine or can some one help me make it better. Id really appricate it. Princess

It sounds good...I have a twa well it might be a lil larger than yours i chopped off the permed hair sunday and I had alot of new growth.
I no poo every sunday unless i am doing a hot oil treatment then i put in shampoo ...which i do once a month. I detangle my hair spritz it with a mixture of water 2 dropps of desert sage oil, smart balance oil ( also my hot oil treatment oil) has canola, soy and olive oil in it...then I style my hair .
Every day i make sure my hair is moist in the shower or bath and spritz it. I usually put in styles that last about a week. everytnow and then i add pink lotion
Your regimen sound fine. If you were to shampoo less I would say use less products cause of buildup but since you wash it everyday i think you are doing it well.

Add a good leave-in conditioner to your routine. You should use this along with your oil daily. I rinse in the shower and detangle. apply oil to my scalp if it is dry and apply my leave in conditioner(parnevue)-fingercomb or brush and go. I also use oils such as dabur amla oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, vitamin e oil and shea butter. Best of luck to you.
