Try a hairstyle thats similar and compatible with your hair type, like crimping it because I'm black and I ware my hair crimped because its easy to do and take care of and since my hair is already naturally nappy (Not peasy.Theres a difference) the crimping iron still allows it to look natural and this works well for me.Plus you don't have to comb it ever single day and thats best for me because I be having to go to school in the morning and don't be have time to be in the mirror doing my hair. All I do is wake up do my regular routine (bath, brush teeth etc.) and when I get up to my hair and it's almost time to go I just take my fishnet off finger it out and I'm gone.

Hi there I am mixed raced & have really thick frizzy hair. I tried not straightening my hair but could'nt cope without it now. I limit the straightening 2 twice a year and I go for many conditioning treatments. I would recommend using motions and kera care on your hair. I also use vitamin e and olive oil products on my hair. Hoping this helps.

Hey here is a site that show hairstyles people created on their own. You do not have to become a member unless you like to.

when you get on the homepage look to the left menu and click on "napptural gallery" when you scroll down you will see differnt pictures of women and their natural hair, it do not have to be your exact hair type just look at their hair albums because they have beatiful hair styles for their hair, they also give product advice for what they have used. Their photo albums links are in bold.

I hope this works

here is the link,

Alright: no one is "black."

Whether you're "mixed" (everyone is somewhere down the line) or not, it doesn't matter.

Anyway, there are products out there to fight frizz. I believe that L'Oreal has a product out..I'm not sure.

Good luck!
