My hair is damaged but I dont know how badly. I tried both before but I dont know which is healthier for my hair. I'm not so sure you should do either for your hair's sake..just let it grow out (if you've got curly/kinky hair, get an afro or braid your hair; if it's straight, wear it in a ponytail..) and continue conditioning it and caring for it. -------------
