How Often am I supposed to wash cornrows? and how should I wash them without risking them unbraiding at all?

Wash them once a week and spray leave-in conditioner on them or rub a little cream leave-in conditioner in between the rows. conrow magic makes a good cream that you can use that relieves itching. they won't unravel if you are gentle and mainly concentrate on the arease in between the rows, you can also place a stocking cap over your head and shampoo with the stocking cap on. Hope this helps.

washing them makes the hair style look old. just use aloe gel or witch hazel in the parts to absorb the oils. they also make latherless braid cleansers. check the black hair stores.
