Ok, im 18 and will be going to college in a few days. I have medium length, super super thick hair. I was thinkin about getting it braided in the little micros braids, but it would take forever. I dont know whether I should braid my hair or let it go, does anyone ahve any advice on that, thanks if you do!

Do what you feel is best. Since you are going to be in school will you have time to do your hair? If you get microbraids you can get them done and keep them in for 2 months or 2.5 months. I read that they do not recommend braids in for longer than 2 months but it your choice. I know in the beginning of school I am usually busy, so you can keep your hair in a protective style (micro braids), style them when you want ( pony tails, updos) without damaging your own hair and saving time for yourself to do the things that you want to do without worrying about doing your hair.
