hello everyone well let me get to the point my hair was very think and it is now starting to thin out. I have not been doing anything wrong like using different harmful chemicals or anything of that sort on my hair. I go to my beautician for my touch-ups and i wash my hair my self in between taking extra care when i wash it. I really need to know if anyone has any suggestions on what to do to regain my hair's thickness if anyone out there has any suggestions on something that has helped to thicken their hair please help me out because I am very scared and depressed about my hair PLEASE HELP ME!

Maybe it's stress. Maybe because you're depressed your hair is falling out. I really have no idea though. I go through periods when my hair falls out. But I think it's just hormonal.

You may also want to look into taking vitamins such as biotin, vitamin e, flaxseed oil, msm, super b complex, evening primrose oil and a good hair skin and nails formula

I do I think that maybe I should try getting my hair trimmed regularly because the ends are very thin

Are you sure your ends aren't breaking off and thats why they are looking thin?

Make sure to do a deep conditioning and hot oil treatments now and then and make sure to focus on the ends when you do it. The ends are the oldest part of the hair so you need to work on that 2 times more than the main hair.

Maybe you should stop getting perms altogether. The chemicals (in addition to stress) are not healthy for your hair at all. Your hair will be a lot thicker, healthier and TRUST ME, it will grow out longer.

i hear that if u rub shea butter on ur scalp every day or something like that, that hair that has fallen out will grow back. havent tried it though.
drink lots of water, at least 8 glasses a day!

one more thing. i hear that if u put some rice and some water in a spray bottle and spray it on it'll make ur hair look thicker. something about the rice makes things thicker. dont ask me what. i haven't tried that one either but its just a suggestion...

Thanks everyone for your tips I am very very appreciative. To answer a question I do trim my ends but when I trimmed them I wasn't trimming away enough because i was to scared to. I just recently trimmed away about an inch of my hair and it looks great!! I also grease it with doo gro mega thick. I think that was my problem. I wasn't greasing or trimming my hair the way I should. Its been a few weeks since my first post and I can see a 80% inprovement already! The funny thing is when I cut my hair it actually appeared to be longer. With the thin ends my hair looked shorter does anyone else experience this or can anyone explain why this apperance happens?
