Hey everyone. I want to start wearing my hair natural (which is very curly). When flat ironed my hair is almost shoulder length. My problem is frizz. When my hair is soaking wet it looks really good (w/ a little conditioner). It starts looking bad once I get out of the shower. The ends continue to look really good, but the crown/root get really big and frizzy. Help.

1) Frizz is just what comes with natural hair

2) You can try to use moisturizers to calm down the frizz

Have you heard of the site www.napptural.com

you should go on there there are alot of great women with great advise and explain their hair regine. My hair really don't frizz, I accept it the way it is when it is dry and wet. The natural state of your hair is the way it is when it is DRY but there are products to help reduce stuff. Try braiding it after you wash it. Are you doing conditioner washes or are you using shampoo and conditioner that could be a problem too.
