Has anyone heard anything about these perms, good or bad? I asked a lady who works in a hair care store that sells it, and she hadn't heard a thing about it! How does THAT happen?

well in my opinion... hawaiian silky was one of the best things that happened to my hair.... i think it just may be my hair but when i first put it in.. my hair was soo shiny..with no grease or anything... you should try it.. and the neutralising conditioning shampoo is the best neutraliser to use..

Seriously?
What type of hair do you have, if you don't mind my asking? I think that I'm either 3c or 4b, because my hair can be nappy, but the last time I let my roots just grow for a few months, there was a distinct 'wave' and crimp pattern in my hair.

well to be honest with you i have no idea... maybe you could tell me? my hair is really curly,it looks like theyve been rolled on toothpicks and its always frizzy and no visible definition of curls.. i think my natural hair has been through some texture changes since the first relaxer(no pun intended) because i have relaxed and cut it off.. let it grow back and texturized and let it grow back and it was always more staright than anything... i find that odd.. but what do i know..anyone care to enlightnen me? oh yeah i forgot to mention.. my dair did have a slight wave in it after the 'silky' but only the first time...

Very interesting.
But now that I think about it, this particular store wouldn't sell me the perm kit when I originally wanted it...they said it was for a professional only.
