Do you do your own relaxers or do you go to the salon? What type of relaxer do you use?

i go to the salon. But I just went exactly one week ago and she was doing too much people's hair at the same time and not paying attention to me and gave me a bald spot and burned my scalp. So I'm going to be doing it at home from now on. Well my mom will do it for me hopefully with phytospecific.

I moved to the US a little after a year and I've never been to a salon. thinkling of it but its just easier to do at home. I get my mum to do it or my friend who's very good and does her hair herself

My at-home relaxer experience has been spotty at best. I intend to buy a Bion flat iron and keep my hair straight, and relax at a shop every two months. It definitely costs more, but in my opinion it's worth it if you want your hair to be healthy.
