Are you wearing your hair relaxed or natural? What is your current routine?

It sounds like you have a nice routine right now. Just be prepared to change things up as your hair gets longer. Also keep in mind that hair, on average, grow only 1/2 inch per month...some people's hair grows faster and others slowly. Also, keep in mind that your hair always grows, so you should aim for "length retention" above all things. Since you are doing things to keep your hair moist, you are doing well. As your hair grows, protective styles like braids and twists are helpful.

what's lenght retention and how long does your hair have to be in a twist. Also if your growing an afro and your top is longer then your sides and back but not by alot could dat effect your hair when you want to get braids or cornrows. thanks alot

Length retention is simply avoiding breakage as much as possible. Since our hair always grows, avoiding breakage is important and moisture is usually the key.
Length for twists is about 3-4 inches but if your hair is a bit shorter, you can do finger or comb coils. Nappturality has a section of styling...I am lazy when it comes to styling.
My top is and will always be longer than the rest; I just learn to live with it. I have had cornrows with extentions once last year with no problem. Braids should be no problem at all.
Using a blowdryer to stretch out the fro is called a blowout, but you do not need a kit for it. I would hold off on trying it until you do some more research into hair care and learning what your hair likes.
