This question should be posted in another section, but this board is my home and it's an important question:

For those of you on the pill or the patch or the shot, does it affect how much hair growth you get?? I was wondering since it is a dose of hormones how much does it throw off your normal hair cycle? Do you notice a difference at all?? If it does stunt your hair growth, is there something you can counter-take to help it grow without affecting the pill?

I haven't noticed a change in my hair growth since I've been on the pill. I've been on Apri for about a year now and I love them! I was scared that I was going to gain weight when I started taking them but it's been the opposite!

I just got Ortho Evra (the patch) on Monday (1-10-05) but I haven't started it yet. Does anyone know if it causes your hair to grow slower?

I've been on Ortho-Trycycline for 4 months and I've been fine. If anything my hair is stronger but I attribute that to the way I've been taking care of it.
