My first attmpt at a conditioner wash was pathetic so I decided it was not for me until I tried it again last night. Last time I used Mane'N Tail which is my staple conditioner anyway. But I think it was too heavy. So I went against the grain and bought Vo5 Strawberries n' Cream Conditioner. (I usually don't use this brand at all, but I love strawberries and cream!) It was great! I followed with my Organics Hair Mayo and left it in while I was in tub letting Calgon take me away. When I rinsed, my hair was so soft and moisturized. Love it!!!

Hi Honeydoo,
I just tried this technique for the first time! My hair came out great. I used Nexxus humectress. I thought it wouldn't get my hair clean enough. But it was great! Now I'm trying to remeber why I ever used shampoo!

I'm glad you like it, I do tho conditioner washes, and once a week (Fridays is wash day) I use a gentle cleanser that I got from the health food store. But when I finish that bottle I think I will just do conditioner washes, I use suave and white rain products.

I usually wash and condition my hair once a week, but I think I'll up it to twice and with the 2nd one being the conditioner wash. I don't know if I can use shampoo less than I do, but we'll see. I heard the Suave Milk and Honey is pretty good.

I have a variety of suave conditioners, they all seem to work the same in my hair. I just switch depending on the scent that i am in the mood in to have.

Has anyone tried using Pantene Hydrating Curls for their conditioning wash routine?  If so, how did it turn out?
