Ok, I don't use shampoo as much now. When I do it is CON detangling shampoo but I have come across another goodie: Dark and Lovely Naturally Anti-Itch Peppermint Shampoo. My scalp was so itchy and in need of a pick-me-up so I decided to try it. The tingling is GREAT!! It felt like my scalp was a peppermint!! My hair felt soft and clean afterwards. honeydoo this was the problem when I tried the conditioner wash --the scalp just got to itchy. But I think I will try this method again. Where did you buy your dark n lovely peppermint shampoo? ------------- "And this too shall pass." |

Yeah the itching thing happened to me, so I use shampoo or a gentle cleansing soap to wash out any buildup at least once a week. On those days, i do the conditioner, wash, conditioner method. It has worked nicely, and kept my hair moisturized. ------------- Natural BC May 9, 2004 |

Cmesweet, I do the same with my wash days. I always condition before and after. My hair comes out better that way. I think I will continue to use shampoo but not as much. I can't stand buildup or that itchy feeling. I found it at my local BS, but Walgreens and Sallys should have it. Anywhere Dark and Lovely products are found. I used the peppermint shampoo when I first cut my hair a year ago and it felt sooooo goooood! I would try it in the summer and see if it provides some much needed relief from the heat  ------------- |
